Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Harmful Practices (2 hour workshop)
This 2 hour workshop delivered by IKWRO women's rights organisation is an important area of learning within the wider context of safeguarding children.
Our workshops are for practitioners who work within any of these boroughs; Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the workshop, participants will:
Have an increased understanding of Female Genital Mutilation and other harmful practices
Be able to identify the signs and symptoms of FGM and other harmful practices
Be more confident in responding to cases of FGM and other harmful practices
Have an increased knowledge of best practice
Have an increased knowledge of support available in responding to cases of harmful practices.
